Job Description
- Working as part of a team of web application developers
- Using a variety of technologies, mostly PHP5 and PostgreSQL
- Input to project plans and technical/design documents
- Taking a degree of responsibility for architecture and design
Skills Range Essential:
- Able to communicate effectively with the team and clients
- Able to work in the UK
- Min 1 year commercial PHP experience (or more in a similar language)
- PostgreSQL (or similar, e.g. MySQL, SQL Server)
- X/HTML & CSS
- Javascript
Desirable:
- A relevant degree
- AJAX
- jQuery
- SOAP/XML services
- Subversion or other source control
- Apache
- Linux
- Object oriented programming
- Joomla, vBulletin or similar open source applications
