CWT's web servers are built to a carefully defined standard using the Gentoo operating system and Apache, the world's most popular web server. This combination makes for a powerful hosting platform, and given that both cost very little to acquire, install and maintain, we pass the savings directly onto our clients!

For websites featuring an on-line booking engine, we use either a PostgreSQL, MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server database server to power the back end, depending on your requirements. CWT use Dell servers to run 99% of our customers websites and databases and we have found the Dell servers to be hard-working and reliable machines. All our servers use the latest 64-bit Intel or AMD processors so whether your site uses shared or dedicated hardware, you can be sure that you'll get the best performance.

CWT's web hosting infrastructure is housed in our dedicated racks at the BlueSquare datacentre in Berkshire. The facility benefits from 24-hour security, redundant power and network links, full climate control and fire suppression systems.  All our servers are behind managed firewalls to keep out intruders and our servers feature fault-tolerant hard disks to keep your data safe.

The CWT Systems Administration team work very closely with our suppliers, service providers and developers to ensure everything stays running smoothly so your website stays open for business. We'll handle everything from website monitoring and backups to DNS administration and server upgrades. We pride ourselves on our fast response times, professional service and helpful attitude.
